Terms of Service

Welcome to Islamove. By using our website or mobile application (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Islamove is a logistics and delivery platform that connects users ("Customers") with local merchants ("Merchants") in Siquijor. Islamove provides delivery services for food and essential goods but is not a manufacturer or producer of the goods sold.

2. User Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • All information provided during registration (including your delivery address) must be accurate and current.

3. Orders and Payment

  • Placement: Once an order is placed, it is sent to the Merchant for preparation.
  • Pricing: Prices are determined by the Merchants. Islamove adds a delivery fee which is clearly stated at checkout.
  • Payments: All online payments are processed securely through our third-party payment gateway. By paying via the app, you agree to their terms of service as well.

4. Delivery

  • Delivery Time: Estimated delivery times are provided for convenience and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by weather, traffic, or Merchant preparation times.
  • Failed Delivery: If a rider cannot reach you at the specified address after 15 minutes of waiting, the order will be considered "failed." In cases of Cash on Delivery (COD), failed deliveries may result in account suspension.

5. Service Fee

Islamove charges a service fee per order calculated as 2.5% of the food order value plus ₱12, rounded up to the nearest peso. This fee is collected by Islamove at checkout to cover payment processing costs. Restaurant partners receive 100% of the stated food order value. The service fee is separate from the delivery fee, which is remitted to the delivery rider.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

Islamove acts as a delivery intermediary. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of the food or goods provided by Merchants. Any disputes regarding the product itself must be handled directly with the Merchant.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
